Christmas in Cannes

The Christmas period in Cannes is always magical and exceptional thanks to the numerous activities proposed in all the districts of the city, but also to the workshops and shows dedicated to children.

The youngest will have the chance to meet Father Christmas and to close the year, young and old will be able to admire the traditional and majestic fireworks which will be fired in the bay of Cannes on Friday 31st December at midnight. Fireworks cancelled due to global pandemic of COVID 19.

Like every year-end, the City of Cannes is adorned with splendid illuminations, and proposes to families numerous Christmas animations.

The famous Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes will be decked out in lights from 16th December.

Cannes, an open-air shopping centre, gathers in a restricted perimeter the greatest fashion, luxury and art of living brands; an embarrassment of choice to fill Santa’s sack with precision, diversity and originality.

This is the perfect way to start the festive period that will celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Santa's suit" show - Christmas in République

Santa’s suit has disappeared! His daughter takes it upon herself to find it, but when her path crosses that of the son of the bogeyman, it’s certainly funny and explosive!

Marie-Noëlle is appalled… Someone has dared to steal the Santa suit she was preparing for the big day! Her suspicions soon turn to Jean-Balthazar! But he doesn’t cooperate easily, and Marie-Noëlle will have to be very persuasive and even threatening to impose herself… fortunately the audience is there to help her.

This show is a lovely, freely inspired Christmas fable that is as funny and offbeat as it is poetic and touching. Circus and comedy are the basis of this funny, dynamic and touching show for all audiences with a lot of humour and poetry, all sprinkled with magic.
Father Christmas will be present for the photo session
