The GFNY Cannes starts in front of the famous Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, which hosts the annual film festival and its famous red carpet steps that welcome movie stars from all over the world year after year.
Experience the thrill of a run along the iconic boulevard, past the beautiful Côte d’Azur beaches, palm trees, luxurious palace hotels and the early morning sunrise over the Mediterranean Sea.
As you enter the historic seaside town of Mandelieu La Napoule, you leave the hustle and bustle of Cannes behind and enter the hinterland of the Esterel Massif, with its exceptional and unspoilt nature. Athletes on the long course run a breathtaking 55 km loop through typical Provencal villages and impressive nature that is almost impossible to imagine so close to a coastal tourist destination like Cannes.
